Mark Hankewycz is a board certified security professional with over 24 years of experience in all aspects of electronic and physical security consulting and design.  He is the Principal for Security Services Group where he manages the day to day operations of security consultants and engineers.  Mark has extensive experience in physical, electronic, and operational security; security planning, risk assessment and analysis; and policy and procedure development. As a common thread in today's security, he has successfully used Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) techniques and performance based design criteria. He has developed and written security emergency preparedness and disaster recovery plans, conducted numerous security risk assessments and performed multiple planning and design charrettes for high security facilities worldwide. Mr. Hankewycz has been a principal committee member for the Premises Security Standards Committee (NFPA 730) and the Electronic Security Standards Committee (NFPA 731) since 2003, as well as a member for the International Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) since 1997. In addition, Mark is serving a 3-year term (2006-2008) as Board of Directors for the Building Security Council (BSC).
