One area where we can best apply our technical competence is in support of loss investigation and the assessment of system or component failure. Our engineers have supported owners, insurance carriers, manufacturers and others in legal issue resolution and the settling of claims related to fire, explosion and system failure. We use advanced engineering tools, including models that evaluate fire initiation, growth and spread, egress and smoke. Our engineers perform on-site evaluations of the loss, analyze key data and develop reports that support legal positions. In cases where out of court resolution cannot be reached, our resident "experts" provide testimony in support of legal proceedings.
